Duskcast

About Duskcast

A player that organizes the TV subscriptions you already have: playlists, guide and favorites on every TV you own.

What it is

Duskcast is software for watching TV services you already subscribe to. It doesn't sell, include or recommend any channels, streams or playlists. You add the M3U link or Xtream login your provider gave you, and Duskcast adds a guide, favorites, lists and catch-up around it.

You set things up from your phone or laptop on this site and sign in on the TV by scanning a code. What you add shows up on every TV you pair.

Video always streams straight from your provider to your device and never passes through Duskcast's servers. The servers keep only your account, your encrypted playlist details, favorites, lists and groups.

Groups let family or friends share custom lists and watch a channel together. Playlists that carry a provider login stay private to the account that added them; Duskcast isn't a way to pass a subscription to other people.

Duskcast is in early access and sign-ups are by invitation. The Free plan covers the player itself; Plus adds custom lists, creating groups, hosting watch parties and more TVs. Plus isn't on sale yet.

Available Live now

Your playlists on your TV
M3U links and Xtream logins from your provider, added from your phone or laptop so you never type on a remote.
Sign in with a code
Scan a QR code on the TV; your playlists and favorites sync to every TV you pair.
Guide and catch-up
A grid of what's on, for a playlist, a category or one of your lists, and earlier programmes on channels your provider archives.
Favorites, recents, search and custom lists
Favorites and lists follow you between TVs; recents stay on each TV.
Groups and watch parties
Share custom lists with family or friends, and watch a channel together across homes. Hosting is part of Plus; joining is free.

Terms of use

Last updated October 20, 2026. By creating an account or using the apps, you agree to these terms.

The service

Duskcast is software for organizing and playing TV services you already have. It's in early access and provided as is: it may change, be paused or end, and features may be added or removed.

Your sources

  • Duskcast provides no TV channels, streams, playlists or subscriptions. Everything you watch comes from sources you add.
  • Only add sources you have the right to use, and follow your provider's terms and the law where you live.
  • Your provider login is for you. Playlists that carry a login aren't shared with other accounts, except where the operator has approved it and your provider allows it.

Fair use

  • Don't use Duskcast to infringe copyright, or to resell or redistribute access to anyone's service.
  • Don't try to break, overload or get around the service's security, or access other people's accounts.
  • One person per account. Keep your password and recovery code to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account.

Plans and payment

The Free plan costs nothing. Plus isn't on sale yet. Before it is, this section will set out the price, how renewal and cancellation work, and the refund policy, and you'll see them before you pay.

Removal

Accounts or playlists that break these terms, or that are the subject of a valid complaint from a rights holder, may be suspended or removed. You can delete your account at any time.

No warranty

Duskcast is offered without warranties of any kind. It doesn't guarantee that any stream, guide or feature will work. To the extent the law allows, its operator isn't liable for any loss arising from using it.

Changes

These terms may be updated; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use Duskcast means you accept the update.

Privacy

Last updated October 20, 2026. Duskcast collects as little as it can and never sells or shares your data for advertising.

What's stored on the server

  • Your username, and salted hashes of your password and recovery code. Neither is ever stored itself.
  • Sign-in sessions: the device name (for example “Web” or “TV”) and when it was last used.
  • Your playlists. Server addresses, logins and guide links are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they're saved.
  • Your favorites and custom lists (channel names and their order), categories you've hidden, the groups you're in, and the invite code you signed up with.
  • Your plan (Free or Plus) and when it ends, and account settings an admin can change (such as features granted to you).
  • To stop password guessing: for up to a day, counts of failed attempts per username and per IP address.
  • While a watch party is running: who's hosting, which channel is on, and who's watching. It's deleted when the party ends. Reactions are passed along live and never saved.
  • How many times each app file was downloaded per day, as a count only: no address, account or device.
  • If the app crashes: the error and where in the code it happened, the app and system version, and the device model, linked to your account if you were signed in. Used only to fix bugs.

What isn't

  • No email address, real name, phone number or payment details.
  • No viewing history. Recently watched channels stay on your TV.
  • No streams, playlist files or guide data. Your TV downloads these directly.
  • No analytics, ads or tracking, in the app or on this site.

Who can see what

Your playlists and favorites are private to you. Playlists that carry a provider login are never sent to other accounts, except where the operator has approved it for a group. Lists you share with a group show members its channel names, never logins. Group members can see each other's usernames, when you're online in the app, and when you're in a watch party, along with the channel it's on.

Other services involved

  • Cloudflare hosts Duskcast. Like any web host, it handles your IP address when you connect and may keep short-lived logs.
  • This site loads its font from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address.
  • Your TV connects directly to your playlist provider and to the addresses of channel logos, so those services see your TV's IP address.

How long it's kept

  • Sessions stop working after 180 days without use, and setting a new password signs out every device; TV sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes.
  • Deleting a playlist deletes it, and everyone's favorites and list entries on it, straight away.
  • Crash reports are deleted after 30 days.
  • You can delete your account and everything in it at any time from Account on this site.
